RUFC - Statement from the Chairman

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart has said that he will not sleep tonight - and I think there will be a lot of us feeling the same.

In a statement on the clubs Official Site, Mr Stewart said, 'For the past week or so the atmosphere at the club has been unbelievable.

'The shop and ticket office have been heaving and all I see is smiles and happy faces.

'Rotherham United is on the ascendency and before we get to tomorrow I just want to say a very sincere thank you to everyone.

'I am very proud of both supporters and staff connected with the club and the days leading up to the big kick-off have been phenominal.

'We have great players that we will all be rooting for tomorrow so wear red and white, wave your flags, blow your horns, sing your hearts out - do whatever it takes as we are all part of one team - Rotherham United Football Club.'

The Chairman ended the statement with a simple 'See you tomorrow'
