'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore 'horrible feeling'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore was disappointed after the Millers lost at Wembley this afternoon.

'It's a horrible feeling,' he told the Official Site. 'The players tried and tried. i feel for them because they gave everything.

'It was end to end stuff but when you defend like that you aren't going to win.

'It is soul destroying to be honest. It's frustrating when you bring such a wonderful crowd and when you get a minute you think could we have done better and the answer is 'yes' we could have defended better. But our problem has been inconsistencies.'

Talking about double goal scorer, Ryan Taylor, his manager said, 'He's worked his socks off today and got us back in it. Ryan has bossed it, he's chased things and he got the goals. I feel for him because he was brilliant on the day.'

I'm truly gutted for you. Was looking forward to the derbies next season. I'm sure you'll be there or therabouts next season. What a fantastic game to watch for the neutrals, did Yorkshire proud.

Tough on you lads, Didnt see the game, but match reviews say it was a great game. We were looking forward to The Millers doing the double over the citys poor neighbours, shame.

I actually travelled with an owl yesterday (said as he couldn't see a future getting to Wembley with the Owls he'd come and support us!) He was gutted for us- though I think secretly pleased that we wouldn't be taking six points off them next season! Glad we did Yorkshire proud! Fantastic day out - just the result that went wrong
