RUFC - Warney signs new deal

Rotherham United midfielder, Paul Warne has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

Warney, in his second spell with the Millers, signed a one-year contract last summer when he came from Yeovil Town on a free transfer.

The thirty-seven year old picked up an injury which took longer to recover from than first thought meaning he missed a lot of last season. Joining for another year means he will also combine his playing with fitness coaching duties.

Speaking to the Official Site, Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas said, 'We are delighted Paul has decided to extend his stay.

'Paul was unlucky to pick up an injury but is now fully recovered and one of the fittest players at the club.'
