RUFC - Ashworth Signs

Rotherham United have signed twenty year old defender, Luke Ashworth from Leyton Orient, initially on a one year deal.

Speaking to the Official Site, Luke said, 'I am delighted to be here and want to thank the manager for giving me the chance to move closer to home.

'I am optimistic about the season ahead and am looking forward to meeting up with the other lads for pre-season training.'

Luke started his career with Wigan Athletic, moving to Orient, after a loan spell, in January 2009.

Luke is six feet three inches tall and is said to be adept in the air.

Vital Rotherham wants to welcome Luke to the club.
