RUFC - Moore 'Jason has to knuckle down'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told the Official Site that 'the door is open' for midfielder, Jason Taylor.

Taylor, who spent November to May on loan at Rochdale, ultimately helping them to promotion, will join the rest of the squad when pre-season training starts.

'Jason is a strong midfielder,' Moore said. 'The door is certainly open for him here, so it is up to him.

'He went away to Rochdale at the end of last year and I've not seen him since but if he wants to stop here he'll have to knuckle down, work hard and try and get back in the side.'

At Spotland Jason formed an effective midfield partnership with Jason Kennedy and regularly featured in the starting line-up.

Jason joined the Millers in January 2009 from Stockport County
