Vital Rotherham World Cup Sweep/Prediction Table

As there is a break in the World Cup games for a couple of days - and they have been coming thick and furious, let`s have a look who, like England, are coming home in the Vital Rotherham World Cup Sweep.

Tichie Taff and Mexico were knocked out by Argentina and by the second terrible decision of the day, when Carlos Tevez headed the South American team in front from a clearly off-side position.

Sixpence and England are also out - aided and abetted by the first terrible decision of the day when Frank Lampard`s shot was clearly yards over the line, the only people in Bloemfontein not seeing that being the match officials.

MVMiller is out after Spain beat his Portugal side.

Curt fell with the USA side when Chile beat them 2-1 on Saturday after extra time.

Pukka Pieman also fell to the might of Brazil when his Chile side lost 3-0.

So of the twenty players who started, the only six left in are:

MOS with Argentina
DELBOY with Germany
TAFF with the Netherlands
CAZ with Paraguay
TV with Brazil
CHRISRUFC -with Spain

There hasn`t been a lot of change in the Predictions League with Noggin still in the top spot and increasing his lead daily being six points in front of MV in second place on 40 points. Caz and Zippy are in joint third place on 36 points with Taff dropping to fifth on 34 points. Three points behind him is Blondie and on 30 points is Sixpence followed by Bez on 27 points. Mos and Dazza both have 26 points with Saint and Curt on 6 and 4 points and I think they have probably given up!

The Table

1. Noggin
2. MV
3. Caz
3. Zippy
5. Taff
6. Blondie -
7. Sixpence
8. Bez
9. Mos
9. Dazza
11. Saint
12. Curt
