RUFC - Mullins over the moon at Millers contract

Rotherham United`s latest signing, defender, Johnny Mullins told MillersPlayer that he is 'over the moon` about his deal for the Millers.

'I knew a lot about Rotherham and the club didn`t have to be sold to me,` the twenty-four year old said. 'The manager wanted me and I wanted to come. I`ve played against Ronnie Moore`s teams before and I`ve always liked the way his full-backs have played.`

The former Reading trainee said that other teams had come in for him but carried on to say, 'It was important for me, after my experiences at Stockport, that I became involved in a team that is successful and after meeting the Manager and Jimmy (Mullen) I am sure that is something that is going to happen.`

Johnny becomes this season`s fifth new name in the squad alongside former loanee Marcus Marshall, Ryan Cresswell, Luke Ashworth and Tom Newey and there could well be another player on his way in shortly.
