RUFC - Moore won't sign just anyone

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has admitted that two of his targets in the transfer market opted to move to another club.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, Moore said, 'We have been close to signing some but have just fallen short.'

Moore lost out on midfield pair, Stephen Dawson and Matt Spring, who both decided to go to Leyton Orient and Moore said, 'They ended up going to Orient because they can offer them football at a higher level.

'We could do with one or two more but I won't pay over the odds for Mr Average.'

This interview was before the Millers signed Johnny Mullins from Stockport County.
