'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Pabs moves to Crawley

Rotherham United's former midfielder, Pablo Mills has joined Blue Square Premier side Crawley Town today.

Mills, who joined the Millers from Derby County in 2006, was let go at the end of last season by Manager, Ronnie Moore.

Pabs went to play for Crawley, on loan, in 2007 and played fourteen goals for them.

Speaking to Crawley's Official Site, their Manager, Steve Evans said, 'Pablo is a super signing for us.

'I watched Pablo many times last season and he was brilliant every time I watched him. He is a leader of men, a very talented footballer and a player who will make us better as a team. He can also play in a number of positions in the team; at centre back and in midfield Pablo has demonstrated he is simply outstanding.'

Pablo said, 'I've been speaking to the gaffer for a few weeks now and I signed just to get him off the phone!

'Seriously I am excited by the ambitions of the club and when I looked in detail at the squad for the new season I wanted to be a part of the project here.

'I told the Gaffer a few weeks ago that there was only one manager and club I would consider playing for in the Football Conference and his interest allowed me to turn down several clubs at Football League level to do that.'

All at Vital Rotherham wish Pablo all the best for his future and a big 'thank you' for what he has done for the Millers in the past
