'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore 'it's a major coup getting Mullins'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said that new player, Johnny Mullins is a 'fantastic signing'.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, Moore said that, after a tip-off that Mullins might be available, he never thought he had a chance of siging him.

'Johnny has played a lot of football at League One level and there were a number of clubs chasing him so it was nice that he decided to come to us. With the situation at Stockport and the new consortium coming in, I think he was just ready for a change.

'I've known Johnny a long time and he can play at centre-back or right-back. He's a good talker and is aggressive and everybody who you talk to in football who knows him speaks highly of Johnny. I really think we've pulled off a major coup getting him.'

Moore is now waiting to see if he's got another player he's been after, Mark Bradley, who he hopes to sign very soon.
