RUFC - Moore after striker

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is looking to add a striker to his squad.

The squad began pre-season training today with six new faces - Ryan Cresswell, Johnny Mullins, Mark Bradley, Tom Newey and Luke Ashworth and, of course, Marcus Marshall who was on loan with the Millers for part of last season.

Speaking to the Official Site, Moore said, 'Considering we didn't stop playing until the end of May I think we have done well to get in the players we have.

'I'm still looking for a striker with a little bit of pace - preferably a big guy who could help us out. There are one or two experienced players still available out there but we will just have to wait and see.'

Speaking about current strikers Adam Le Fondre and Ryan Taylor, Moore said, 'If Ryan plays like he did at the back end of last season then I don't see why him and Aflie can't build up a good understanding. And, if they do that, then they will be a handful for any side in this league.'
