RUFC - Cresswell 'being skipper would be amazing'

Rotherham United new boy, Ryan Cresswell said that he would love to be the new captain of the club.

Speaking to Paul Rickett of The Advertiser, the former Sheffield United player said, 'If I was offered it then it would be amazing. It would be a massive honour. But, we'll see how pre-season goes and let the manager make the decision.'

Speaking at the first session of pre-season training yesterday, the twenty-two year old said that promotion was on the cards, saying, 'With the current crop of players we should be targeting a place in, at least, the play-offs.

'But, I do think, we could get automatic.'
