'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Magennis disappoints Moore

Rotherham United have missed out on Cardiff City striker Josh Magennis.

The nineteen year old was let go by Cardiff at the end of last season and was a target for Ronnie Moore but Magennis opted to go to Scotland and Aberdeen.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, a disappointed Moore said, 'We thought we had it all sorted but then in came Aberdeen and offered him silly money.

'He would have been a wow signing for us with his pace and strength.

'But you win some you lose some.'

Magennis is a Northern Ireland international who actually began his life as a footballer in goal.
