RUFC - Taylor injured?

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore may have to step up his search for a striker, if the rumours that are surfacing about Ryan Taylor are true.

We have heard, over the last couple of days, that the twenty-two year old striker has had a training ground accident which has left him with a broken foot.

How true - or if true, how bad the injury is - we don't really know.

But, if it is true it will be a big blow for the young man, who was loaned out to Exeter City last season and came back to make a name for himself by scoring two goals at Wembley.

And, it will be a big blow for Rotherham United too, leaving them a bit short of front men.

Tom Pope is ruled out for a few weeks after he broke a foot in training in April which leaves just veteran Paul Warne and winger-cum-striker, Marcus Marshall to possibly partner last seasons top scorer, Adam Le Fondre, up front for the start of the season.
