RUFC - Warney fully fit

Rotherham United player/coach, Paul Warne, has had a tough pre-season workout and is fully fit, after spending most of last season on the treatment table.

Speaking to the Official Site, the thirty-seven year old said, 'My overall fitness is impressive and I've done well with the 400m runs. But, the power and acceleration is not quite what it once was.

'The older I get the slower I get although I never really had pace to lose and I have never been quick.

'I hope to play some part this year and am looking forward to it.'

Warney is hoping to get a run out in tomorrow evenings friendly against Leicester City.
