RUFC - Moore impressed with trialist
Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told the Official Site that he was very impressed with trialist Jeremiah Ani today in the win over Tamworth.
'He`s come in and trained well,` Moore said, 'and he played well at Stocksbridge with the kids on Wednesday, changing the game with his heart and work rate.
'He came to us after doing a pre-season with Notts County. The manager, Craig Short, saw the circular we sent round and recommended him to us.`
Ani played forty-five minutes today and impressed some of the Millers fans watching at Tamworth too and, although Moore hasn`t ruled out signing the Nigerian twenty-five year old, he says there have been no talks yet.
'We will have to wait and see what happens and the length of contract he`s after. We will have to have a chat with his agent.`
