'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Millers land Holden

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore, has today signed Dean Holden on a one month emergency loan.

The thirty year old, who is currently playing with Shrewsbury, has been brought in to cover for Dale Tonge and Johnny Mullins, who are both injured.

Speaking to the Official Site, Moore said, 'We've been trying to get a right back in all week.

'I've worked with Dean at Oldham so I know a lot about him.

'He's got good experience and I am delighted to get him.'

Dean began his career with Bolton Wanderers before moving to Oldham where he played over eighty-five games. He then went on to play for Peterborough and Falkirk, where he broke his leg while playing against Celtic.

Dean signed for the Shrews in June 2009 and has played thirty-six league games.

Vital Rotherham welcome Dean to Rotherham United
