RUFC - Millers struggling with injuries

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that we are going to struggle to put a team out against Peterborough next Tuesday in the first round of the Carling Cup.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said, 'I`ve never known a pre-season like this for injuries.`

After Nick Fenton pulled up again in training this week with a hamstring problem, Moore confirmed that Exodus Geohaghon, on loan from Peterborough, will probably start in his place.

Neither Geohaghon or the other emergency loan player, Dean Holden, will be able to play against Peterborough on Tuesday. Mark Bradley won`t play either as he is on duty with the Welsh U21 squad in Malta and he is a doubt for tomorrow as he`s got a back problem. Some good news is that it is hoped Tom Elliott will be fit for tomorrow`s game against Lincoln at Don Valley.

'We`re going to struggle for a team on Tuesday,` Moore said, 'but the first thing is to get the Lincoln game out of the way. We`ve got to try and get as many points as we can while we`re in this situation. Tomorrow will be tough because Lincoln have more pace and strength than last year.`
