RUFC - Millers and Bantams interested in strikers

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has put an offer to Jon Macken, who left Barnsley in the summer.

'He was going to Hartlepool,` Moore told David Beddows of The Advertiser, 'but the deal fell through. So, now we have put an offer in.

'He has a good goal ratio of one in four and at this level will get goals. But Bradford City are also interested in him.`

It also seems that the Millers and the Bantams also have a shared interest in Izale McLeod who is also a free-agent having left Charlton Athletic this summer. The England U21 striker played just over thirty games for Charlton since moving there in 2007 and has been loaned out to Colchester, Millwall and Peterborough in the last two years.
