RUFC - Ronnie Misses out on Abs
Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has missed out on signing Abdulai Bell-Baggie, who was on loan with the Millers last season.
'I wanted to bring Abs back,' Moore admitted to The Advertiser, 'but that won't be possible because it looks like he's off to Aldershot.'
Abs was a great favourite among the Millers fans while he was here last season on loan from Reading, coming off the bench numerous times to liven up the games.
'It's disappointing,' Moore said, 'but he's brought the house down at Aldershot and their Manager is an ex-Reading player.
'Aldershot were offered Abs on loan last season before we took him but they said 'no' but after Abs made his full debut for us at Aldershot he saw him and had a change of heart.'
