RUFC - View from the Opposition Manager

Rotherham United got all three points in yesterday`s game against Lincoln City at Don Valley and City`s Manager, Chris Sutton said it was 'disappointing.`

Speaking to Lincoln City`s Official Site after the game, Sutton said, 'I didn`t think there was a lot in it in the first half but I did think we looked a bit nervous.

'I don`t think Rotherham caused us too many problems so I didn`t change anything at half-time. In terms of how we played in the second half we seemed to up it and, in all honesty, I thought we might go on to win the game.

'I wouldn`t say Joe Anyon was overly worked and I think both goals we conceded were poor and thought we could have done better with them both.`

Sutton went onto praise the travelling fans, saying 'It was brilliant support from the fans and I know the players appreciate it.`

Over five hundred fans travelled from Lincolnshire to South Yorkshire yesterday.
