'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition Manager

Peterborough United Manager, Gary Johnson says it was lax defending that helped the Millers get their goal last night at London Road.

Speaking to Radio Cambridge Johnson said, 'We didn`t really get our game going at first and then Rotherham took their one opportunity that they got early on which, from our point of view, was a bit scruffy all round. But, we`re a team who can score three and four and so we are always going to get ourselves back into the game, although I`d prefer the opposition to get their goal when we are already three-nil up! But our will to win was there.'

Asked about Aaron Mclean who was carried off on a stretcher in the second half after a challenge with Danny Harrison, Johnson said, 'The first signs are that it`s not as bad as we first thought. When we heard the crack we all thought it was a broken leg but our medical people have looked at it and they`re not sure that it is that which is good news.`
