RUFC - Moore admits new bid for Thomas-Moore

Rotherham United have put in a second bid for Ian Thomas-Moore, son of Rotherham Manager, Ronnie Moore.

'We put another bid in yesterday morning,` Moore told MillersPlayer, 'but whether it will be accepted I don`t know.

'Their evaluation and our evaluation is a million miles away. They are wanting one hundred thousand pounds for a thirty-three year old and that just won`t happen. We have put in, what we believe, is a realistic offer.`

Thomas-Moore asked Tranmere Rovers for a further one year on his contract which, at the time, was turned down and he then slapped in a transfer request. Since then there have been reports that a new deal has been offered but his father says he doesn`t believe that is the case, saying, 'I`ve spoken to Ian and he certainly hasn`t been offered a new deal unless they have just done it.

'We want him to come here but I`m not sure that Tranmere want that. He`s been playing wide on the left or wide on the right and has scored goals already this season so I don`t think they can really afford to let him out. Which is a shame for us because he`d be a wow here.`

Be good for you if you could get him as he is a goal scoring wideman.
