'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore disillusioned over striker situation

Rotherham Manager, Ronnie Moore has said today that he can`t see the strikers he has targeted coming to play for the club.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Moore said, 'We`ve bid thirty thousand for Ian (Thomas-Moore - Ronnie's son) but they want one hundred thousand for him. If they think he`s worth that much why don`t they give him a contract? Although he was offered a new contract just yesterday so it`s now basically down to Ian what he wants to do. He`ll be a free agent in the summer but we really need somebody in now.

'I`ve spoken to Peter Reid about Rory Fallon and he`s hanging on to see if Swansea come in for him.

'It`s going to be hard because it`s so difficult finding a striker. We keep knocking on doors and keep getting them slammed in our face. But, sometime, sooner or later, someone is going to say 'yes`.`
