RUFC - Warrington disappointed on Saturday
Rotherham United goalkeeper, Andy Warrington was disappointed last weekend after conceding four goals.
Speaking to The Advertiser, the thirty-four year old said that Cheltenham`s second goal, of four, was down to him, 'The ball was played through and I honestly thought it was closer to their man than what it was. As soon as I backed off I realised it wasn`t and I won`t pretend otherwise.`
The Millers came back from being three-one down on Saturday to winning six-four with Warrington saving a penalty in the second half. 'The fans were singing my name after I saved the penalty but I still came off disappointed because of the first half with the goal.
'We were awesome going forward but very poor at the back and I include myself in that because I was at fault for that goal. As a goalie you`d rather win two-nil than six-four, but it happens and at the end of the day it`s three points and that`s what it`s all about.
'We`ve started the season really well with two wins and a draw in the league and now we have to make sure we push on from here.`
