RUFC - Moore on his striker hunt

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore doesn`t think you can have too many strikers.

It`s been well documented that he`d love his son, Tranmere`s Ian Thomas Moore to come and play for Rotherham and Thomas-Moore didn`t play for Rovers today.

Speaking after the Millers one-nil win at Hereford this afternoon, Moore said, 'I don`t think you can have too many strikers. We`ve had good news over Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor who will be back in a fortnight but if we could still get our Ian then I`d still like to do that. But, they want fifty thousand pounds and we only want to pay thirty thousand pounds and we aren`t going to budge on that. He`s not played for Tranmere today because he picked up a little injury so we`ll just have to wait and see.`

Rotherham have signed Jeremiah Ani this week on a months contract and he was on the bench this afternoon and Moore said, 'Ani will probably play on Tuesday and we`ll have a good look at him and see where we go from there.`

'But, we want to get as many strikers as we can in here.`
