RUFC - Moore, And Co, Lose Out To Buckle

RUFC - Moore, And Co, Lose Out To Buckle

Ronnie Moore was one of those in the running for the league two manager of the month for August although the Rotherham manager, and others, missed out on this accolade.

Moore, along with Shrewsbury and Chesterfield managers Graham Turner and John Sheridan respectively, missed out to Torquay's Paul Buckle.

Until the final game of August Torquay had won every league game. Going back to last season they had also not conceded a goal in nearly 1000 minutes before they conceded against Port Vale.

Buckle was 'proud' to pick up this award but stressed it was a team effort: 'this award is testament to all the hard work put in by the players, backroom staff and everyone connected with the club.

'It is lovely to be rewarded in this way and I am extremely proud to pick up the npower League Two manager of the month trophy.'

Do you think that the best man won the August manager of the month?
