'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Millers Fan to get Freedom of the Borough

Rotherham United fan and World class Referee, Howard Webb is to become an Honorary Freeman of Rotherham.

This is to honour not only his contribution to sport but also for his services to charity, with Councillor, Howard Stone telling The Advertiser that Howard is a fantastic ambassador for both Rotherham and football.

'Howard Webb has really put Rotherham on the map,' Mr Stone carried on. 'The World Cup Final between Spain and Holland was the culmination of a long distinguished refereeing career that began in 1989 here in the local Rotherham leagues.

'Howard has also made a massive contribution to local sport as well as doing a huge amount of work for charity.'

All at Vital Rotherham send their Congratulations to Howard.
