RUFC - Buy A Brick to be discussed

Rotherham United`s Buy A Brick Scheme is on the agenda when the New Stadium Fans` Working Party meet with the club.

Around five years ago many fans paid out hard earned cash for specially commemorative bricks that were to be incorporated in the new stand at Millmoor. Well, as we all know, the new stand never got completed, and, although the bricks have been mentioned by various Trusts and committees, I think most of us thought we`d never see them and had written of our bricks and money.

The Chairman of the Trust, Mark Thomas spoke at their Annual General Meeting last week about the 'buy a brick scheme` saying, 'There is a feeling that it would be nice if the people who contributed were remembered in a 'Buy A Brick Honours Board` scheme.`

Other items the New Stadium Fans` Working Party are to discuss with the club includes seating, disabled areas, a designated kop, undersoil heating, whether the new stadiums playing surface would be used solely by the club and a season ticket loyalty scheme.

Did you buy a brick?
Would you be happy with your name on a special board or would you like to see your brick eventually laid?
