'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Trust News

Rotherham United`s Trust and Rotherham United`s Supporters Club will NOT be merging - at least for now.

Speaking at the Trust`s Annual General Meeting last week, Chairman, Mark Thomas told The Advertiser, 'It was discussed but the trail went cold. The Supporters` Club, without any disagreement from us, want to keep their own identity. They continue to co-operate with us as much as they can but there is no current desire for a merger.`

The Trust have organised two evenings events for the future.

On Thursday, 2 December at The Carlton Park, there will be a fans` forum where Club Chairman, Tony Stewart, Manager, Ronnie Moore, Commercial Director, Steve Coakley and Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas will be in attendance to answer fans questions. The forum starts at 7.30pm

Next year, probably sometime in March, the Trust are organising 'An Evening With Howard Webb` also at The Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham.
