RUFC - Ryan's Return

RUFC - Ryan's Return

Rotherham United`s Ryan Taylor was a surprise inclusion in last night`s game against Bradford City.

Coming back from a broken metatarsal, the twenty-two year old who scored two goals at Wembley in the Play-Off Final in May, wasn`t expected to play a first team game until next weekend at the earliest. But, it appears that Marcus Marshall pulled a hamstring in the warm-up and Taylor was drafted in at the last minute.

Taylor came on for the last fifteen minutes to a round of applause from the Millers fans and, with practically his first touch of the game, almost scored from a header, but, under pressure from a Bradford defender put his header just wide.

Taylor should get ninety minutes this morning in a behind-closed-doors game that has been arranged at Oldham.
