'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Cress 'we have enough to cope with Bury'

Rotherham United skipper is looking forward to his return to Gigg Lane tomorrow, after leaving there this summer to join the Millers.

'I really enjoyed my time there,` the twenty-two year old defender told Chris Jackson of The Advertiser, 'but I chose to leave because Rotherham was a bit closer for me and everything fits perfectly for me.`

Cress played over fifty games for the Shakers in his two seasons with the club and of the recent squad he said, 'They`ve got a front four with two forwards and two attacking wingers who can turn a game for them. They are strong at set-pieces and we have to be wary of that but we have enough in our squad to cope.`

Talking about the Millers, Ryan said, 'We`re just finding the right balance between attacking and defending at the moment. We score a lot of goals but concede a few. But, we are working hard in all areas. Andy Warrington is nice and loud and really helps us. I hear him all the time and he hears me all the time and we are all starting to get an understanding, which, I think, in the last few games has shown.`

Back to the game against Bury tomorrow, he said, 'It`s important we go there and get three points.`
