'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition Manager

Rotherham United and Bury shared the points at Gigg Lane yesterday afternoon and afterwards Rotherham Manager, Ronnie Moore said he thought his Millers side had to hold on a bit towards the end.

Bury boss, and ex-Millers player and boss, Alan Knill thought his side were 'pretty good.'

Speaking to Radio Manchester Knilly said, 'Once we'd gone one up it was ours to lose really. But straight after half-time we switched off and Le Fondre scores. Really, we should be talking now about a one-nil win for Bury but it wasn't to be.

'But, there were plenty of positives and I thought we were excellent and after we conceded we were by far the better team. We had good possession, we moved it around but we just lacked that little bit at the end.

'I thought we were more than a match for Rotherham.'

What's your thoughts on the game? Do you think Bury were the better side? Should the Millers have been winning going into half-time?
