'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Alfie proves something to Moore

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore had nothing but praise for Adam Le Fondre on Saturday whose goal earned the Millers a point at Bury.

'He worked hard,` Moore told Les Payne of The Star. With striker Tom Pope out with a calf injury, Alfie was asked to play a lone roll and Moore carried on, 'It wasn`t easy but he`s proved to me that he can play up there on his own.

'His goal was fantastic too and he was very brave. He was on the front foot and in that situation you might think the 'keeper will come and clatter you. But, he`d only got one thing on his mind.`

It was a good goal, and Alfie seems to get where castor oil couldn`t in situations like that. But, it was also a fantastic ball from Kevin Ellison to Alfie for the goal.

Sounds like the player is getting better all of the time. Are you scared he will be sold in January when the next transfer window opens?

If he carries on like he is doing I don't think there is a lot of doubt, SFC - though it will be big money that takes him
