'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Bradley after his first start for Millers

Rotherham United midfielder, Mark Bradley started his first game for the Millers on Saturday at Bury and told MillersPlayer that he thought it went OK.

'I thought we played really well as a unit, although, if I`m honest I thought we could have passed it a bit more,` the Wales International said after the one-all draw. 'We stopped them playing in the second half. It was a good point in the end.

'Our goal was a good goal. Kev (Ellison) did well on the left and it was a good finish by Alf (Adam Le Fondre) and I think it was a fair point in the end

The former Walsall player was asked which formation he preferred to play in and he said he wasn`t bothered, 'I can`t really pinpoint which I do like and I enjoyed today and hopefully I can get more games now. With the formation today I had a license to get forward and I like that because I like to get into the box and get myself a goal.`

The twenty-two year old said it had been difficult watching from the bench though admitted that he`d had one or two injuries, 'What with the injuries and going away to play for Wales that`s hampered me getting back into the team but now I`m fit and can put pressure on Danny (Harrison) and Jaybo (Taylor) to get in the team.

'We`ve only lost one game in the league and the lads have performed well so all I can really do is keep playing well for the reserves and hopefully get in.`

Talking about his International career with Wales, Mark said, 'If we can get promoted that will help but they`ve got a good squad but hopefully if I play well and get into the team then the caps will come.'
