'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition Manager - Burton

Rotherham United knocked Burton Albion out of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy last night and the Brewers` Manager, Paul Peschisolido was disappointed with his team`s effort.

'It was almost like a testimonial game today,` the Canadian told Radio Derby. 'There was no real killer instinct today. When we went one down I expected a bigger reaction from us and I was disappointed with the boys. There wasn`t that fight, there wasn`t that hunger and that`s not what I expected.`

Asked about the penalty that the Millers got, Peschisolido said, 'It was a terrible penalty but maybe they should have had one in the first half and Ronnie (Moore) made it known to the referee that he thought it was a pen so I think the ref probably felt under pressure to make up for it in the second half. But, it wasn`t a penalty.`

Is Pesch right? Was our pen a bit harsh?

I think we all felt the first was more a penalty than the one given
