'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore 'We need a Josh Walker type'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said that he needs someone who is cool and calm, after today`s one-one draw with Stevenage at Don Valley.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the game, Moore said, 'What we need is a player who is going to come in, establish himself, get on it and make us play. A Josh Walker type of player is the type that we need. Someone who is going to get on the ball take the sting out of the game. Someone who is going to stop it, keep the ball, get us up to the half way line and then old Woggy (Andy Warrington) won`t have to make as many saves as he is having to do.`

Josh Walker was on loan with the Millers last season from Middlesborough and in the summer he joined Watford.

Asked if there was any likely hood of someone coming in, Moore replied, 'There`s lots of players out there but we need someone to say yes. We keep knocking on the door, we`ve got umpteen names and seen umpteen games

'I think we`ve given the three lads here enough opportunity this season but we haven`t got what we`re looking for and the three of them would be fighting for the other spot.`

I would trust your manager if he says he needs a playmaker. Someone who can change the game or style is essential nowadays. We have found one at SMS and I hope you can find one as well.

You'd trust, Ronnie Moore? Hmmmm

To be fair I don't know that much about him but he does have you near the top. If he could get the type of player he wants and then failed, I would have to go along with the doubters as well.

I don't know why we just didn't go out and get Walker back in the summer
