'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pre Accrington

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told MillersPlayer that tomorrow's game against Accrington will be a good footballing game.

'John Coleman has done a good job at Accrington. They've got a lot of scouse lads in the side because he's picked up players from Everton, Liverpool and Tranmere who work their socks off and have got some good skill. They are tuned in and they won their last home game seven-four.

'You walk in and you look at the place and if you aren't mentally tuned in to it then you are going to get a rude awakening. You go in the dressing room and you can't swing a cat in it!

'But we've been before and know what it's like. We lost there last season two-one but if we got there and play the way we know we can play then it's a game we can win We've got to take our chances because we won't get that many and we've got to pressure them and stop balls in our box, which we've been working on all week. We know what's coming and we know that they've got pace in their wide areas but they aren't the biggest side in the world so set plays can be so important to us. A lot of teams are lifting their game when they play us so we've got to show the same attitude and if we do that then we've got better players and we should win the game.'

'If we can go there and get the win then it will be a big lift for everybody.'

This game is like ours at Huddersfield. A game where you have to be at your best to win but I think you can.

We've got to turn up for this one - because our last two or three games we've looked a bit out of sorts tbh
