'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Mullins 'we are all there for Cressy'

Rotherham United defender, Johnny Mullins was pleased to see skipper, Ryan Cresswell back in the side on Saturday at Accrington, after missing out on the last few weeks due to a family bereavement.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, the former Stockport County player said, 'It was great for Cressy to come back in and score a goal and you could see that he was chuffed to bits with it and it speaks volumes that he came back into the side, after losing his Grandad and got the winner.`

Speaking about the game at Accrington, Mullins said, 'Cressy and Exodus (Geohaghon) have got a good partnership and have done well together. It was great that they got two goals from set pieces because set pieces are vital in this league and it was great to see the two big lads getting goals up there.`

Back to the twenty-two year old captain, Mullins said, 'He`s still upset and we have all tried to be there for him as much as we can and he`s done really well in training and is looking to kick on.

'He`s our captain, our leader and we are all behind him.`
