RUFC - Moore chasing Gunner

Rotherham United are reportedly chasing midfielder, Mark Randall of Arsenal.

The twenty-one year old is a product of the Arsenal Academy and can play either defensive, central or at right midfield. Making thirteen senior appearances for the London club, Randall has also had loan spells with MK Dons and Burnley.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Manager, Ronnie Moore said he has seen him play for Arsenal Reserves and said, that although the youngster has faults, he can get on the ball and that he is quality.

'I`ve spoken to Arsenal about him,` Moore said, 'and if we could do a deal it would be great but there are a lot of clubs after him.`

Meanwhile Moore has other 'irons in the fire` and with Exodus Geoghaghon going back to Peterborough shortly, and Nick Fenton out injured for a few weeks, he will be on the look out for a centre-half, although Moore plans to speak to Peterborough again about Exodus`s valuation which they are putting at £100,000. Moore says that is way out of estimate and it seems likely the Millers boss will offer around £25,000 for the tall twenty-five year old.
