'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Cress 'for my granddad'

Rotherham United skipper Ryan Cresswell dedicated the goal he scored against Accrington to his late Granddad, Arthur Tilson

Speaking to The Advertiser after heading the Millers` winner last Saturday he said, 'It meant a lot more than any other goal I`ve scored and it had a bit of extra spice because it was the winner. It was a great feeling.`

The twenty-two year old has always said that his Rotherham United supporting Granddad had played a huge part in his career and was a big influence on him all his life and after he scored the goal he went rushing over to relatives in the crowd to celebrate.

Speaking after the game, Manger, Ronnie Moore said, 'After what he`s been through recently it was fantastic.

'I knew he was ready to come back this week and he came back and had a tremendous game. He`s one of the best centre-halves in this league and he has a fantastic future.`
