RUFC - Message from Club to Supporters

Rotherham United Football Club have sent out this message to supporters on the clubs' Official Site

As part of an investigation by the Football Association into the clubs' conduct, Rotherham United Football Club are working closely with South Yorkshire Police and Lancashire Police to identify the culprits who invaded the field of play during the match, last Saturday, with Accrington Stanley.

Anyone identified WILL receive a football banning order.

We would like to emphasise that it is a criminal offence to invade the field of play and that the ground regulations are in place to ensure safety of all supporters, players and officials.

The club regrets having to make these types of announcements and hopes not to have to do so again.
