RUFC - Moore no closer to getting anyone in

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that he is really no closer to fetching someone in on loan although he is still on the look out to strengthen the squad.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, Moore said, 'I think we need a centre-back which would give Nick Fenton time to recover and we need some more competition for the wide men. And, if there are players out there who would make us better then we would be stupid not to do it.`

As we found out yesterday, Moore is keeping an eye on Arsenal youngster, Mark Randall and said, 'He is a good, young footballer with great ability and is the type of player I have been thinking about for a couple of weeks.`

Moore also said that he is willing to let some of the players who are on the fringe of the first team out on loan saying, 'We have one or two players we`d like to get out playing games but we haven`t had any response to that, though, hopefully, that will happen soon.`

The players most likely to be loaned out are the likes of Jamie Green, Stephen Brogan and Marcus Marshall who have failed to get into the first team this season, although both Jamie and Marcus have featured off the bench recently.
