RUFC - NO Done Deal with Alfie

RUFC - NO Done Deal with Alfie

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has quoshed any rumours that striker, Adam Le Fondre has signed a new contract with the club.

Speaking to The Advertiser Moore said, 'There were quotes that it`s a done deal but we are still in talks and it takes time. They have to give us an offer, we have to give them an offer and you barter like that.

'We are obviously trying to get things tied up sooner, rather than later, and the same goes for Ryan Taylor who we are also in talks with.

'Alfie is contracted to us until 2012 so he doesn`t have a say in it, it`s as simple as that. We`ll decide when he goes so he`s just got to get on with it.

'No one has been in for him and until they do it`s not worth talking about him leaving.`

'He'll just have to get on with it' - in all the interviews I've heard Alfie do, I don't think he's ever really said he wants to leave. That sentence, to me, makes me wonder if all isn't exactly well
