RUFC - Ex disappointed he has to leave

Rotherham United loanee, Exodus Geohaghon played his last game for the Millers on Saturday at Southend and said it wasn't the way he wanted to leave.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after his last game before he returned to Peterborough, the twenty five year old defender said, 'I was bitterly disappointed with the performance today.'

Due to the Football League ruling, Exodus can't stay on loan with the Millers after his ninety-three days and Exodus said that it's frustrating. 'You always want to be out playing when you aren't playing for your parent club so it's very frustrating and it's a rule that has to be looked at. When I get back to Peterborough I shall have to speak to people directly and see if we can come to some arrangement.

'I've enjoyed it immensely here. I've been playing so that's always a plus and the atmosphere at the club has been amazing. Footballing wise I don't think there's another team like it in League Two and wherever I go now it's not going to be the same and if they finish outside the top three then it's a tragedy. Realistically, I can see them going up automatically.'

Asked if anyone had spoken to him about coming back in January when the transfer window opens again, he said, 'January is two months away and anything can happen. They could find someone else and bring him in so I'm not getting my hopes up. Hopefully I can come back again and get some games in but we'll have to wait and see what happens come January. But, if they find someone to replace me then it's a bonus for the team and a bonus for the club as well and hopefully they will find someone who will serve them well and then they can start to pick up points again.'
