'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ronnie to ring the changes?

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has hinted that he might make 'one or two changes` for the team to face York City tomorrow afternoon in the first round proper of the FA Cup.

Then again, we've heard this before.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said, 'There will be one or two changes and I`m also looking at changing the way we play, with a new system giving the opportunity to those who haven`t been involved to play.

'But, I don`t want to weaken the side because we want to go as far as we can in the FA Cup. Tomorrow is a potential banana skin and, if we`re not at our best, we will slip up. We need to be playing at a higher tempo.

'York have a new manager and a new system, playing 4-3-3, meaning they play everything out from the back. But we have the better players and the better team. If we perform we will win.`

Bringing in some new players could finally see Stephen Brogan and Jamie Green get a chance in the starting eleven as well as Marcus Marshall, who has been getting rave reports from Reserve games.

Maybe a couple of fresh faces will gee up the players that have not been performing as well as you would expect. Be good experience as well for the fringe players.
