'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Fans Interview - Huddersfield Town

Rotherham United take on Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night at Don Valley Stadium in the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Before the game we asked Vital Huddersfield's Ed, Terrier24 a few questions

User Name
Terrier24

How long have you been supporting the Terriers?
20+ years

What made you decided 'Huddersfield` was the team for you?
Its my home Town team, I couldn't imagine supporting anyone else

What was the first Huddersfield game you saw at home
The last game at Leeds Road against Blackpool is my first memory

If there was one Huddersfield Town player you could fetch back from the past to play now who would it be?
Darren Bullock would certainly be high on the lost and of course I'm going to say Andy Booth!

Is there any player you`ve ever felt sorry to see leave?
Yeah actually was sad to see Pawel Abbot leave in recent times, and obviously selling Marcus Stewart to then promotion rivals Ipswich was also gutting

You are going great guns in League One this season, do you think you'll be able to keep it up until the end of the season?
I bloody well hope so!! We have been in league one for way too long now, time to move forward

Who should we be looking our for on Tuesday?
Anthony Pilkington, the lad is on fire and if he is feeling up for it he will put your defence to the sword

When you see the name 'Rotherham United' what are your first thoughts?
Winnable game

Finally, what are your thoughts on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy?
Its a great opportunity for some silverware for lower league teams

Thanks for taking time out to answer our questions, Terrier24.
Here's hoping there's another Yorkshire team in the Championship at the start of next season!

I was gutted to see 'my' Gary Roberts was injured T24, I was looking forward to seeing him. How's he doing now?
rybel_b
He is one of our better players, missed him recently, should be back soon hopefully!!
Terrier24
I first saw him play when the Millers played Accrington, when they were non-league. He played everyone else off the park!!
