'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Huddersfield

Rotherham United were dumped out of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy competition last night by a Huddersfield Town who never really looked like they were in any serious trouble of losing.

After the game, Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore had a few harsh words to say about his defenders yet was able to take some positives from the five-two loss at Don Valley saying, 'We got forward, it`s just every time we didn`t finish behind them, they counter attacked.`

I thought Huddersfield looked very lively last night and some of their movement off the ball was top class although their Manager, Lee Clark was disappointed with the two goals that was scored against them.

Speaking to Huddersfield Towns Official Site, Clark said, 'I thought attacking wise there was some exceptional bits of play but I was disappointed in the two goals we conceded. They both came from set plays and we will work hard in the coming days to make sure it doesn`t happen again.

'Ronnie Moore`s teams are tough and get in your face and try to get the ball into danger areas so it was a good win on a night when we could have scored seven or eight.'

Could the Terriers have scored a lot more last night - were our defenders as bad as Ronnie Moore is saying?
