RUFC - Injury update

Rotherham United had some good news on the injury front after training today, with both Ryan Taylor and Nick Fenton declaring they would be fit for tomorrows game against York

Speaking to MillersPlayer Manager, Ronnie Moore said, 'On Tuesday Nick Fenton had to go to full back and it's a bit strenuous out there when you're used to playing centre-half. To be fair to Nick, he'd played five games in two weeks, had the injury before that and only had two days training so he's done terrifically well to get through it and I think it was more cramp than anything else that he had.

'Ryan got a kick on his knee but the swelling has gone down and he's looking forward to the game.

'Dale Tonge's not a million miles away and with a little bit of luck it will be seven days maybe before he comes back to training and then a couple of weeks to get his pre-season in and then we will go on from there.

'Adam Le Fondre looked sharp in training and it's nice to have him back and hopefully him and Ryan can get the partnership you need and take some of the pressure of Alfie.

'Popey (Tom Pope) has had a couple of chances and hasn't taken them and he's missed out of the last couple of days training with a virus so he's doubtful for the game on Saturday.'
