RUFC - Moore 'horrendous journey'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has told Les Payne of The Star that it took the team bus eleven hours to get back from Torquay on Saturday.

'It was an horrendous journey back on Saturday,' Moore said. 'It took us eleven hours with the problems on the M5. We were diverted to the A roads but there were problems there too.`

Speaking of postponements, Moore carried on, ''Everybody is in the same boat with the postponements and its bad luck when you`ve had to make an especially long journey.'

The Millers travel to Stockport on Boxing Day, but even at this early stage there is a massive doubt that the game will go ahead, although, as we`ve recently seen, temperatures and conditions can change quickly.
